It is easier to say it in an article that will help them ,so I wrote one.<br /><br /><br />First I want to let you know that I am just an average person,<br />(not with special weird or magical powers).<br /><br />I just have a love for animals and have spent a lot of time with them.<br /><br />I also believe that God made people and all creatures and gave us dominion over all creatures, so what we do with that information<br />is truly up to us.<br /><br />It is also true that if you treat others as you want to be treated ,<br />they will respond far easier than if you bully them.<br /><br />Animals already know that we are in charge. If you were in their<br />mind how would you respond to the way you treat them?<br /><br />Lets take a look.<br /><br />Lets start with dogs. ...Nature has given them some things<br />that they were born with. For example ,the ability to communicate with dog language.(Barking , whining, biting, growling.) Just to name a few<br />that we are all familiar with.<br /><br />So why is it that we think they will understand English right off the bat?<br />Animals learn the same as we do. They all have their own personality,<br />and likes ,dislikes ,frustrations, and fears. They also become attached,<br />(to other animals and to humans even to toys and their home.)<br /><br />Puppies are babies that have another language, and need to learn your language.<br /><br />If you take the time when they are still a pup, you will get along with them much better later on.<br /><br />Like taking the time to take them outside every half hour or so to get fresh air and potty train them.<br /><br />They will respond a lot better to praise when they do their thing out side,<br />than they will to correcting them when they do it inside.<br /><br />If you spank a child every time they do something wrong but never show them the correct way of doing things, they will not learn what it is you want them to know.<br /><br />The same with animals.<br /><br />When ever they do something right, give praise.<br />This is how you gain trust from them.<br /><br />Take some time to see what things they like to do, just like when you make a new friend.<br /><br />What kind of dog is it ?<br /><br />Small dogs most of the time don't want to play fetch at the local river.<br />While a Lab normally lives for that kind of fun.<br /><br />Some people think you should have a pet that suites your likes and dislikes, and sometimes that is true.<br /><br />But maybe you are frozen in a world of your own making,<br />and doing what your pet likes might open you up a little.<br /><br />For instance ,do you stay inside a lot?<br />Try taking your dog out for a walk.<br /><br />Or take your Bird (if its wings are clipped I wouldn't want it to fly away.) outside on the patio and let it play in the fresh air for a while.<br /><br />Or if you have a bird and its wings are not clipped , let it fly around inside of the house for a while.<br /><br />Talk to your pet alot, they might not understand you, but they will know that you are trying to include them.<br /><br />They will in return respond the same way. They will start wanting to include you.<br /><br />The whole thing is that if you have a pet , it is a living creature with feelings just like you.<br /><br />They learn just like you. They respond to you even better than some humans .
